Jean Paul Gaultier Spring/Summer 2013 Pays Tribute to 80s Pop Icons | Paris Fashion Week | FashionTV

SEE MORE: PARIS – Besides showcasing his signature masculine meets feminine designs, this Spring 2013 season, Jean Paul Gaultier also paid tribute to 80s pop icons at Paris Fashion Week. Never one to showcase a runway without some kind of statement, this concept seemed fitting for the out-of-the-box couture king who showcased models that were lifelike replicas of Grace Jones, Annie Lennox, Jane Birkin, Boy George, and of course, Madonna and that infamous cone shaped bra. There was also disco queen Amanda Lear…and Abba? YEP! The show did get over the top in true Jean Paul Gaultier style, but the clothes still triumphed and anyway, that’s what makes this designer so great time and time again. Appearances: Sessilee Lopez, Ajak Deng, Yulia Kharlapanova, Ginta Lapina, Jessica Stam, Sigrid Agren, Frida Gustavsson, Milagros Schmoll, Karlie Kloss, Liu Wen, Aymeline Valade, Lindsey Wixson, Alana Zimmer, Constance Jablonski, Anais Pouliot, Lais Ribeiro, Jourdan Dunn, Joan Smalls, Anais Mali, Chrystal Copland, Jean Paul Gaultier SHOP CHANNEL http FACEBOOK TWITTER twitter.comFashionTV’s YouTube network features coverage of fashion shows, fashion week, runway highlights, front row celebs, backstage, hair and makeup, models, designers, photo shoots, red carpets at the biggest events in Hollywood, and much more.
